Are you in London over the summer? Rather than seeking out the most recent blogger trends or touristy city sites, that often cost an arm and a leg, why not test out the free things you can do in this marvellous city, which can often be way more fun :). I will divulge a little warning here; my suggestion is completely weather dependent, so pick a sunny day (if possible haha).
My tip this summer is to get outside and explore the outdoor spaces that London has to offer. Get on your bike or walk rather than take the tube or bus! You’ll be surprised at how beautiful London is when you step away from the busy traffic ridden roads and heaving shopping malls.
London has many beautiful parks on offer, my particular favourite is Victoria Park in Mile End/Bow. It’s the perfect place to sit and have a picnic, to cycle, run, skate board or rollerblade. You can even just go for a walk with friends, your dog or by yourself. Whatever you do, you’ll inevitably get lost in the surroundings and forget you’re in the middle of one of the most densely populated cities. I also highly recommend the Pavilion cafe for breakfast/Brunch/Lunch, its great and also veggie/vegan friendly :).
I recently spent a few days with my sister exploring the park, during England’s short but sweet, heat wave. The atmosphere is always so chilled and laid back, and I’ve included a snap shot of some pictures as an example, but you should definitely try it out for yourself :).
Its a perfect place to skateboard or cycle:
You are surrounded by vibrant green grass, trees and water where ever you look (plus also some of the cutest dogs, we spent most of our time dog watching). So set up camp, have a picnic and watch the world go by 🙂
You are so beautiful // loved your outfit ☁️🌸💖
